Since 2024 Cody Pope has served as the planting pastor and as a Teaching Elder for MRC. He has been in ministry for over three decades. His undergraduate degree is in Biblical Studies from The Criswell College. He also attended Dallas Theological Seminary and his graduate work was in Philosophical Theology. He worked in tech and finance before transitioning into the oil and gas industry for more than a decade ago.
He has been married to Shayla since 1996 and they have three grown children.
